Pajama Storytime Helps Families Bond Through Reading

CCBQ’s Community Program Services recently held its Pajama Storytime session at the Sheltering Arms Malcolm X Early Childhood Education Center in Corona, Queens. This workshop offered families the opportunity to bond over crafts, reading and music. Families enjoyed a reading of How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night? by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague and also learned about shapes in an arts and crafts session. Each child went home with a book and one lucky winner won a sing-along book and Target gift card. This workshop was sponsored in part by the Maternity and Early Childhood Foundation.
