CCBQ Recognizes Grandparents with New Program

CCBQ’s Community Programming Services recently hosted an open house for their new Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP) at the Catholic Charities Community Center in the Riverdale Osborne Towers in Brownsville, Brooklyn. This program, designed with grandparents and caregivers in mind included guest speaker Brandy Orange from the NYC Department for the Aging’s Grandparent Resource Center. Ms. Orange provided grandparents and caregivers resources and services to better care for their loved ones. This program is funded in part by The Brookdale Foundation Groups Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP). Thank you to Sharon Drummond for coordinating the workshop and Sheldon J. Peters and Stephanie Cruz for lending a helping hand.
