“Diabetes – Don’t Sugar Coat It!” is Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens’ Community Health and Wellness team’s educational class on Diabetes management and health for community members. The Far Rockaway Diabetes Workshop is designed to provide valuable information and support to those living with diabetes in the local area.
The Health and Wellness team had a great time finishing up our summer series at Queens Library in Far Rockaway by learning all about Diabetes. We learned what to look out for, how Diabetes works, and how to care for Diabetes symptoms as early on as possible.
It is incredibly important to learn about healthy choices can you make to be mindful of your blood sugar levels.
