Today Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens’ Community Outreach Services ‘Team Up’ Bridgebuilding Gardening Group shared its harvest with the older adults at the Howard Beach Older Adult Center.
Rosemary, basil, mint and cilantro cuttings were shared. Members that have gardens at their homes received a special treat: actual tomato and sunflower plants to plant at home.
We can’t wait to be able to share our zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant and peppers in a few weeks.
