Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens’ Hillcrest Older Adult Center celebrated Philippines Independence Day on June 12th! Members of the center gathered together to celebrate the history of the Philippines and honor those of their neighbors that call that history their own.
A joyful and exciting day full of music, dancing and delicious meals and treats were had by all, and the members learned about Filipino culture and the significance of Filipino Independence!
