Kindness bloomed this summer at the Msgr. Pfeiffer Resource Center! This year we created a Kindness Rock Garden to inspire and uplift our community.
Members from NYFAC, the Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens Howard Beach Older Adult Center, and residents of the Peter J. Striano Residence recently came together: Participants painted rocks with inspiring messages of hope, encouragement, and colorful designs, each one reflecting creativity and positivity.
While many of the decorated rocks will brighten our outdoor garden for everyone to enjoy, participants also selected a special rock to take home as a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact.
