Catholic Charities Residents Enjoy Outdoor BBQ with Entertainment and More!

Residents of the Catholic Charities Msgr. Thomas Campbell Senior Apartments in Astoria, Queens recently enjoyed an afternoon of fun in the sun with an outdoor BBQ complete with delicious food and great music. Residents enjoyed yummy chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, japchae, gimbap, assorted salads, rice and beans, fresh fruit and more. One of our very talented residents entertained the group with Elvis cover songs and more. Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens Community Outreach Services was also on hand, helping where needed to make the day very special for all!
 
Since the pandemic began, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens has provided much-needed food packages and services at 49 Catholic Charities parish-based food pantries, and in total, the agency distributed over $6 million in food assistance. Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens continues to deliver mental health counseling, housing services, family services and early childhood education.
