The Bridge to Life Honors Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens Leadership at Its 33rd Anniversary Gala

Great Neck, NY— On Saturday, April 5, The Bridge to Life hosted its 33rd Anniversary Gala at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck. The event drew a sold-out crowd committed to supporting Bridge to Life’s essential programs for pregnant women. The celebration honored dedicated supporters such as Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens’ very own President and CEO, Reverend Monsignor Alfred P. LoPinto, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the Very Rev. Patrick J. Keating, Esq.

Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens has a long history of working with The Bridge to Life to provide pregnant mothers and their families with supportive services aimed at helping the mothers achieve stability in preparation for their baby’s birth.

In September 2024, Catholic Charities presented The Bridge to Life’s Executive Director, Francesca Yellico, with the prestigious Ubi Caritas Award at the Bishop’s Humanitarian Award Dinner. In a beautiful gesture of reciprocity, The Bridge to Life recognized Monsignor Alfred P. LoPinto and the Very Rev. Patrick J. Keating, Esq., highlighting a partnership rooted in love, service, and shared purpose.

“The honorees’ unwavering service to life, faith, and community exemplify the values that Bridge has stood for over three decades,” Yellico said.

The gala served as a celebration of the nonprofit’s mission, the honorees’ dedication, and the generosity of its supporters who collaborate to help make an impactful difference. Students from St. Joseph’s Academy in Astoria volunteered at the gala. St. John’s Prep Junior Ladies of Charity and St. Francis De Sales Academy were honored for their service and dedication to the nonprofit. Families and mothers who have been directly supported by The Bridge to Life attended the gala, representing the hope and resilience behind the organization.

With help from The Bridge to Life supporters and volunteers, the nonprofit can continue providing families with baby necessities and services to help growing families build stable futures.
