Teaching Child Safety with Infant CPR Training

CCBQ’s Community Program Services recently held a two-day Infant CPR and Safety Certification Training at St. Brendan Catholic Church in Brooklyn. Session one focused on identifying the differences in administering CPR for an adult versus a child. Session two centered on First Aid Training with a visit from Maria, an American Red Cross CPR Trainer who helped participants identify signs of a stroke, heart attack, seizure and choking. Later in the day, participants enjoyed a yummy breakfast and raffle prizes including a play crib and $25 food vouchers. This training was funded by the Maternity & Early Childhood Foundation.
