Catholic Charities Next Generation Volunteer Gathering at Bishop Valero Senior Residence!

 
Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens is excited to welcome our Next Generation Volunteer community for a special gathering at the Bishop Rene Valero Senior Residence in Astoria. This uplifting event brings together young volunteers and residents for a day centered on connection, creativity, and service, offering a meaningful opportunity to build relationships while supporting this vibrant senior community.

Saturday, May 30th – 11:30am-2:00pm

23‑11 31st Rd, Astoria, NY 11106 (Queens, NY, USA)

The nearest subway stop to Bishop Valero Senior Residence is: 30th Avenue Station – N/W Train (just a short walk from the building!)

 

Event Highlights:

Help plant in the garden with residents for a fun, hands-on outdoor volunteer activity.

Participate in jewelry‑making activities and enjoy leisure games with residents in the community space.

 Food will be provided.

Experience a day of planting, crafting, and connecting with the residents! This promises to be a memorable day for everyone attending.
