CCBQ’s Community Program Services recently held a Lead Poisoning Information Session at Sheltering Arms’ Malcolm X Day Care Center in Corona, Queens. The goal was to increase Lead Poisoning Awareness in the community. Guests received information from the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and were also provided kits to test their water for lead at home. This workshop was funded in part by the Maternity & Early Childhood Foundation.
