Biennial Poverty Conference

“Catholic Responses to Poverty in the USA”

Please Join us on October 17th from 9 am to 2:30 pm for the Biennial Poverty Conference at St. John’s University, D’Angelo Center, Room 128.

The Conference will feature a keynote presentation entitled “Doing Good and Doing It Well: Catholic Responses to Poverty in a City That Never Sleeps” by Keynote Speaker, Lisa M. Flores, Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Charities Community Services, Archdiocese of New York.

In the afternoon, Rev. Msgr. Alfred P. LoPinto, V.E., M.S.W., Emeritus Chief Executive Officer Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens will give a speech and presentation entitled “Mission of Charity: History and Future”.
