Catholic Charities Remembers Those Affected on 9/11

Catholic Charities Queens Community Center Staff gathered today for a candlelight tribute to remember those lost on September 11, 2001. The assembly was held in the conference room where they created the image of the towers on the wall formed by the names of all those who perished that morning. The staff shared their memories from that day; their feelings, reactions, and life after the attacks. They were optimistic in concluding that although it was a very tragic event, there is much pride to be felt in the way the nation united as one to help each other. We are all proud to be a part of Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens as we hit the ground running with recovery efforts to help heal our communities for many years after.
