Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens Raised $1.36 Million During the 2019 Bishop’s Humanitarian Award Dinner

Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens raised $1.36 million on June 19th at the 2019 Bishop’s Humanitarian Award Dinner. Held at Cipriani Wall Street, all proceeds benefit the more than 160 programs and services of Catholic Charities. During the program, Catholic Charites presented Nicola DeAcetis AIA, Principal at MDG Design and Construction, Richard Lagnese, Sr., Chief Executive Officer of Allied Construction, and The Russo Family, Owners of Garguilo’s Restaurant, with the Bishop’s Humanitarian Award. Frank Fusaro, Co-Founder and President of Forum Group, received the Bishop Joseph M. Sullivan Service Award, and six employees of Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, John Belfon, Sarai Bosques, Josefa Castro, Elaine Merchant, Jessica Russell and Wendy Schwartz received the John J.
