The Catholic Charities Early Childhood Development Services celebrated 60 amazing years of Head Start last week!
Our Early Childhood Development Centers provide free Head Start and Early Head Start services to low-income families. Head Start provides services to children age 3 to 5 years old. Through the Montessori approach, the centers ensure children are ready for school by providing a variety of developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, language-literacy and physical development.
Our team at the Catholic Charities Thomas A. DeStefano Early Childhood Development Center in Brooklyn hosted an incredible Community Partnership Information Session, connecting families with vital resources while celebrating this fantastic milestone as a testament to the program’s strength and importance for the children in our communities.
