Our Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens Community Outreach Services team had a fantastic time celebrating and promoting breastfeeding awareness alongside the dedicated Catholic Charities Neighborhood Services’ Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in Woodside. It was a joyful and informative event filled with meaningful conversations, valuable resources, and community spirit.
Mothers who attended walked away with baby care essentials, helpful information about SNAP benefits, pregnancy support, and a selection of children’s books to help spark a love of reading early on. We’re proud to support families by sharing resources and education on breastfeeding and maternal health—because empowering parents with knowledge helps ensure that every baby gets the healthiest start possible.
