Seniors Use Art as a Way to Bond with Peers

The Catholic Charities Catherine Sheridan Senior Center in Queens, recently celebrated Quilt Nature: Echoes of a Changing World, an art exhibition in conjunction with Su-Casa, a program that places artists in senior centers across New York City. Participants painted their fondest memories as part of a collaborative painting project that will be intertwined in the form of a quilt. Thank you to Professor Elizabeth DiGiorgio, NYC Cultural Affairs and NYC Councilman Daniel Dromm for the support.
