On Christmas Day, approximately 300 seniors of the Catholic Charities Ozone Park Senior Center in Queens enjoyed a Christmas party, generously funded by Citymeals on Wheels. Volunteers including Kostos Kapatos, Joanna Vavasis, Konstantinos Vavasis, Michael Hoffer, Beth Beilin, Barbara McCann, Julie Olet and Pat Critelli delivered meals and gifts to homebound seniors. A visit from Santa and gifts donated by parishioners of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Brooklyn, as well as seniors from the Catholic Charities Howard Beach Seniors Center in Queens added the perfect touch. In addition, holiday blankets were purchased using funds from The New York Times Neediest Cases Fund.
