Keeping Children Safe with Infant CPR and Safety Training

CCBQ’s Community Program Services recently held a two-day Infant CPR and Safety Class at Riverdale Osborne Towers in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Instructing the class was Carlos, a 20 year veteran of the American Red Cross. Attendees were trained on how to administer infant CPR, dressing a wound, identifying allergic reactions, burns and tackling asthma. To end the sessions, a few lucky participants won $25 Target gift cards. Special thanks to youth of the Riverdale Osborne Youth Internship Program for volunteering their time and efforts. This training was funded in part by the Maternity & Early Childhood Foundation.
