CCBQ believes in the message of Girl Scouts of Greater New York, which is why we were thrilled to have them visit our Relatives as Parents Program (R.A.P.P.) workshop at the Riverdale Osborne Towers in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Participants learned important Girl Scouts signs and laws with a lesson provided by guest speaker Ms. Rivera. The group also discussed the various levels of Girl Scouting and the impact parents and adults have in making a difference in the community. What’s a Girl Scouts meeting without delicious cookies? Participants enjoyed an array of cookies and were gifted trinkets, including fun nail polish. |
