In memory of the lives lost on September 11th, 2001, members of the Catholic Charities Bayside Senior Center in Queens were joined by Congressman John C. Liu, Assemblymember David Weprin, Jordan Goldes (representing Congresswoman Grace Meng), Assemblymember Nily Rozic and Councilman Barry Grodenchik for a special memorial. The Bayside Center Honors Fallen Victims event included seniors engaging in a moment of silence, Pledge of Allegiance and planting 18 Chrysanthemums around the center to honor the devastating tragedy 18 years ago.
