Families of the Catholic Charities Parkside Early Childhood Development Center and Sunset Park Early Childhood Development Center in Brooklyn recently created special holiday memories. Members of the Parkside Center enjoyed a Daddy & Daughter Evening in Paris Dance. Fathers and daughters danced, bonded and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Children were also greeted by Santa who visited classrooms spreading cheer and gifting children and teachers.

Members of the Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Center - Corona PROS in Jackson Heights, Queens celebrated Christmas with a festive party! Activities included photo ops, Christmas outfits and the perfect opportunity to bond with peers. Check out the fun-filled day below.​

Seniors from the Catholic Charities Narrows Senior Center in Brooklyn have been quite busy. In celebration of the holidays, seniors enjoyed their Annual Holiday Party. Festivities included music, dancing and bonding. Additionally, seniors enjoyed a musical performance by an Elvis Presley impersonator! This performance was kindly sponsored by The New York Public Library.


In anticipation of Christmas, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens distributed toys and over $100,000 in TD Bank gift cards to families in need this Christmas. Gift card giveaways were in $25 increments and were handed out according to family size. Gift cards were made possible through the generosity of grant and donations. The distributions took place at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Brooklyn on December 19th and St. Margaret Mary Church in Queens on December 20th.


CCBQ's Community Programming Services parenting group Hola Bebe recently concluded with a fun day. Participants brought in delicious homemade dishes and had a blast playing games. As a parting gift, participants were given a Certificate of Participation, tote bags with baby essentials including wipes, pampers, lotions and more. Educational toys from VTech were raffled to two lucky winners.
