Wellness Wednesdays

WHAT: Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens will host activities throughout the month of July for Wellness Wednesdays. Join us for FREE information on healthy resources, tips and more! Participants are required to wear a mask and be prepared to social distance.

On Wednesday, July 20 Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens will host “Cooking Safely for Your Family” presented by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene – Adult Lead Poisoning Prevention Program.
Learn tips about keeping lead out of your kitchen, identify products used for cooking that might be contaminated with lead and other resources to prevent lead poisoning for you and your family. Blood pressure screenings will also be available.
