CCBQ Participates in Media Training at ABC News Studio

As part of the department's professional development initiative, the Catholic Charities Office of Development and Communications toured the new ABC flagship news studio located at 66th Street and Columbus Avenue.
News Anchor Ken Rosato, who also serves as emcee for many CCBQ fundraisers, graciously gave staff a detailed tour of the new glassy ground-floor studio that houses Eyewitness News, the #1 rated morning news program. The team learned the latest techniques in pitching non-profit news stories tailored for media broadcast and was educated on the behind-the-scenes production process of a live news show. The group participated in a question and answer session with Ken where he taught the latest trends in television media. The team was also on hand to witness the live airing of ABC’s Eyewitness News at Noon with Anchors Ken Rosato, Lori Stokes, and Bill Evans. Everyone enjoyed the informative visit and we look forward to working with Ken at future events.
