Who are we?
The Young Professionals for CCBQ are friends who believe in the mission of Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens. This group, cultivated through the Catholic Alumni Networking Receptions, and now called the CCBQ Junior Board, introduces young professionals to the work of Catholic Charities through social gatherings, volunteer opportunities, faith-based events, and philanthropic support. The CCBQ Junior Board will help cultivate the next generation of leaders committed to Catholic Charities, serving thousands in need in our community.
What do we do?
In addition to events, the Junior Board completes year-round projects and initiatives that support the various programs and services that support families in Brooklyn and Queens.
What is expected?
Junior Board members are encouraged to help cultivate new members, make a small financial membership pledge, participate in at least two volunteer opportunities throughout the year, contribute ideas and plan small events in support of CCBQ, and attend the annual Junior Board events and general meetings.
Becoming a Junior Board member is a fun, participatory, and unique way to celebrate your faith and give back to your community. Through your membership and volunteer work, you make it possible for the Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens to thrive.
