2012 Bishop's Humanitarian Award Dinner

On Tuesday, May 22nd, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens will host the 2012 Bishop’s Humanitarian Award Dinner at Pier Sixty in Manhattan to honor Youssoufou Bamba, Permanent Representative of Côte d’Ivoire to the United Nations, and Michael Perrette, Vice President of Corporate Facilities and Services at Prudential, for their leadership and commitment to the well-being of those in need. Ken Rosato, Anchor of WABC-TV’s Eyewitness News (morning and noon editions) will serve as Emcee for this important fundraiser. Renowned Opera Tenor Christopher Macchio will perform.

For over 20 years, the Bishop’s Humanitarian Award Dinner is held annually through the generous support of concerned individuals and organizations who champion the agency’s mission on behalf of children and families, older adults, the developmentally disabled, the mentally ill, the formerly homeless and the isolated. It has generated millions of dollars in support of the work of Catholic Charities.
In addition to the presentation of the award, the evening will feature cocktails, dinner and dancing. For more information on the Dinner, including sponsorship opportunities and journal ad placements, contact Ms. Zulayka Adamson at 718-722-6024 or at
