Responsibilities:
-
Remain current with the Office for People with Develop Mental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations pertaining to services provided in both residential, day habilitation and home and community based settings. -
Conducts quality assurance reviews in an effort to identify areas of potential audit concerns and compliance with standards set by OPWDD and CCNS. -
Attend entrance and exit conferences during OPWDD survey visits; participate in follow-up meetings with management to develop plan of correction. -
Develop and implement monitoring protocols for corrective action plans. -
Submits written reports and recommendations to help identify, correct and improve programs and processes to promote and ensure quality services to all consumers served. -
Additional QA responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in human services field or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years-OPWDD experience conducting program reviews, writing and/or implementing OPWDD plans of correction.
- Thorough working knowledge of OPWDD regulations governing ICF, IRA, Day Habilitation, Supported Living and Medicaid Service Coordination.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Access/Power Point software program.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
