Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and supervises the day-to-day operations of a residence serving individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
- Practices and implementation of systems to ensure regulatory compliance of the residence
- Oversight of programming and person-centered activities for individuals.
- Responds to regulatory agencies in collaboration with RN Supervisors & ABSS Supervisors, Project Director of Operations, Training Director and Quality Assurance Staff.
- Ensures coordination of the Inter-disciplinary service team for the purpose of assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation of individual’s health, habilitation, and social functioning.
- Ensures audit and regulatory compliance of records, services, and physical plant at all times.
- Provides direct observation of all shifts of Direct Support Staff.
- Ensures staff compliance with Agency policies and procedures.
- Ensures security and accountability for monies of persons living in the home(s), and arranges for the banking needs of those persons, including maintenance of ledgers.
- Maintains safe and secure home(s) in compliance with all life safety codes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field & three years of supervisory experience in a residential setting.
- Practical experience of OMRDD Regulations in relation to residential care.
- Good writing skills.
- Must be well organized.
- Ability to work under stringent deadlines.
- Ability to travel between sites as needed.
- Ability to work some early mornings, evenings and (1) weekend day.
- Computer savvy.
