Stay Cool in the Heat at Catholic Charities Cooling Centers

The first day of Summer began with a sweltering heat wave throughout the city and it doesn’t look like it will fade away anytime soon. With a heat index above 100, we urge everyone to drink plenty of water and find a cool place to stay. Catholic Charities Senior Centers are NYC Cooling Centers which will accommodate those living without air conditioners in their homes. Many of our senior centers will serve as a cooling center throughout the week. See the list below of our programs where you can go to stay cool in this hot weather.
