Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens and Queens For Affordable Housing to Demand Affordable Housing for Low-Income Families at Rally in Hunters Point South on Sunday, September 14th
What: Queens For Affordable Housing, a coalition of over nine community-based organizations, will rally to demand that the city add affordable housing for low-income families at the new development for Hunters Point South. All are urged to attend!
When: Sunday, September 14th at 1:30 p.m.
Where: Hunters Point South, Gantry Plaza State Park
474 48th Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11109
Why: Hunters Point South is being built on public land and will include 5,000 units, 60% of which will be for middle-income families of four earning between $60,000 to $158,000.
