FREE FOOD STAMP PRE-SCREENING PROGRAM

WHAT: Catholic Charities Brooklyn & Queens has implemented a free Food Stamp Pre-Screening Program for adults, age 18 and over. Social service workers will be available to let individuals know if they are entitled to Food Stamps and what amount they might receive.

WHEN: Every 2nd Wednesday of the month
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

WHY: This program was implemented in response to misinformation regarding the Food Stamp Program eligibility requirements. Catholic Charities provides quality social services to the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens through its 180 programs and services for children and youth, adults and seniors, the developmentally disabled, and the isolated.
