CATHOLIC CHARITIES BROOKLYN & QUEENS
SOUTHWEST QUEENS SENIOR SERVICES
MEALS-ON-WHEELS FOR SENIORS

Responding to the needs of one of the largest growing populations, the Catholic Charities Brooklyn & Queens Southwest Queens Senior Services Meals-on-Wheels program was established for seniors who are unable to prepare a meal or go grocery shopping. Free, hot, nutritious meals are delivered Monday through Friday to the elderly who are homebound due to physical or emotional frailty. Presently, there are openings for seniors over the age of 60, who reside in Howard Beach, Kew Gardens, Ozone Park, South Ozone Park, Richmond Hill and Woodhaven.

Southwest Queens Senior Services provides a broad range of services to the well and frail elderly, such as case management, homecare, and transportation, which encourage independence and allow seniors to remain in their homes and communities. For more information about the Meals-on-Wheels program, please contact Janice Goldhaar at 718-847-9200.
