CITICORP MAKES GENEROUS DONATION
TO
CATHOLIC CHARITIES BROOKLYN & QUEENS
ST. MARY’S SENIOR CENTER
The Catholic Charities Brooklyn & Queens St. Mary’s
Senior Center in Long Island City, Queens, received the Citibank
Community Board 2 Grant of $5,000.00 from Citicorp. The grant
was given for the upkeep of the center, which will be used for
a new boiler. Catholic Charities Project Director of Aging, Robin
Apparicio, accepted the check on behalf of the seniors at the
breakfast celebration. Many thanks are given to Assemblywoman
Cathy Nolan (37th District, Queens) and Thomas Galante, Interim
Director of Queens Public Library, for advocating on behalf of
the senior center.
