RESIDENCE COUNSELOR
On Call/Relief
Brooklyn & Queens Locations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with individuals with developmental disabilities
to teach skills and promote independence
• Provide assistance when necessary with activities of
daily living
• Implement service plans and maintain data sheets and
other required documentation
• Encourage community integration and participation in
recreational events
• Ensure the overall health and well-being of the individuals
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the entire residence
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
• Valid driver’s license preferred, w/3 years current
driving experience, and ability to operate up to a 15 person
van, based on program need
