RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops and coordinate the daily camp programming.
• Provide direction and training to camp staff and volunteers
towards the implementation of camp activities.
• Ensure a safe and secure camp facility.
• Monitor preprogram preparation e.g. review of applications,
age grouping and staffing.
• Supervise program staff to ensure quality programming
and completion of paper work.
• Provide written evaluations for staff and volunteers
who have contributed to the success of Operation F.U.N.
• Promote respectful interaction with all campers and
promote a teamwork approach to service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA in special education, education, therapeutic, recreation
or in a related human service field.
• Experience working with large groups preferred.
• Two years experience working with persons with developmental
disabilities
