RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate all functions of the unit as it relates to
OMH and agency guidelines
• Implement the goals and objectives of the program
• Implement the psychiatric rehabilitative philosophy
of the program
• Monitor the contacts with doctors, therapists, hospitals
and other related programs of clients
• Intervene with clients on specific issues as back-up
to counselors
• Participate in crisis intervention and crisis meetings
• Monitor and supervise staff on documentation; i.e. record
keeping, rehabilitation plans, etc.
• Monitor apartment sites for compliance
• Maintain and monitor statistical information for agency,
city and state.
• Conduct supervision of staff individually and conduct
weekly staff meetings
• Provide for and/or conduct staff training as needed/requested
• Identify and allocate resources for clients and staff
• Coordinate and supervise all efforts of screening, admission
and discharge
• Perform other duties and functions assigned or requested
by Program Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
• MA/MS in Human Services or related field
• Experience working with severe and persistent mentally
ill individuals
• Experience working in a residential setting a plus
