TITLE: CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY COUNSELOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide intake, information and referral services to walk-in and scheduled clients as assigned.
- Provide case management services for clients including assessment, psychosocial histories, treatment plans, group and individual counseling services for up to 35 clients.
- Prepare, conduct and document all assigned group counseling, client education groups and individual counseling sessions.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and special events.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
- Collection of urine toxicology screenings.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently credentialed by the State of New York as a CASAC, CASAC-t, or currently enrolled in a CASAC training program.
