RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the supervision, with another clinical supervisor, of the staff who provide clinical, case management and direct care services to the residents of Monica House.
  • Responsible for the monitoring of all charting and documentation, implementation of agency policies and procedures and training and the fulfilling of our program’s mission of bringing self sufficiency and independence to the lives of those who are homeless adults living with a serious mental illness in a Community Residence setting.
  • Familiarity with the New York State Office of Mental Health regulations on Health, Fire and Safety is a must as well as the ability of teaching the fundamentals of self care and activities of daily living skills to the residents.
  • The emphasis at Monica House is on rehabilitation and recovery oriented best practices, solid case management, group work and meaningful social and recreational activities.
  • Ability to work a Tuesday to Saturday shifts a must.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters degree in the mental health field is a must with at least two year’s experience working with this population.  Licensure is a plus.
