RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for oversight of program’s budget; insure compliance with contractual mandates and supervision of staff, volunteers and interns.
  • Hold staff accountable for the planning and implementation of quality services to clients adhering to social work principle and contractual regulations.
  • Develop and implement ongoing outreach to senior residents and encourage partner involvement in program development and service provision.
  • Represent program and agency at community forums and tenant council meeting.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings as needed.
  • Advocate with and for the NORC community on timely issues that promote human dignity and social justice.
  • Provide linkages to, and collaborate with the CCNS lines of business and other organizations to better reserve and resource the work with residents for the enhancement of an integrated service delivery system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters degree related to the field of Human Service or Social work and three to five years management experience in a social service setting.
  • Strong skills in program development, advocacy and community organizing.
