DEPARTMENT: QUEENS SUPPORTED HOUSING
TITLE: UNIT SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess the needs of the client and supervise an appropriate service plan according to those needs.
- Ensure that referrals are made to appropriate internal and external services as required to meet the client’s needs.
- Oversee all delivery of rehabilitative services to clients.
- Monitor all collateral contacts with doctors, therapists, hospitals, day programs etc.
- Identify and allocate resources for clients and staff.
- Assure that there is adequate and current documentation of all services in charts.
- Support residence counselors in regard to clients who need more intensive input.
- Participate in crisis intervention and clinical meetings.
- Participate in crisis intervention and provide supervision for those on-calls.
- Participate with social worker in clinical supervision of staff.
- Participate in all staff and training sessions.
- Coordinate all the functions of the program as it relates to OMH and Agency guidelines.
- Perform other related duties and functions assigned or requested by the program Manager or designee.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong interpersonal skills.
Master Degree.
Experience with the mentally ill.
