RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess the needs of the client and supervise an appropriate service plan according to those needs.
  • Ensure that referrals are made to appropriate internal and external services as required to meet the client’s needs.
  • Oversee all delivery of rehabilitative services to clients.
  • Monitor all collateral contacts with doctors, therapists, hospitals, day programs etc.
  • Identify and allocate resources for clients and staff.
  • Assure that there is adequate and current documentation of all services in charts.
  • Support residence counselors in regard to clients who need more intensive input.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and clinical meetings.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and provide supervision for those on-calls.
  • Participate with social worker in clinical supervision of staff.
  • Participate in all staff and training sessions.
  • Coordinate all the functions of the program as it relates to OMH and Agency guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties and functions assigned or requested by the program Manager or designee.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong interpersonal skills.
Master Degree.
Experience with the mentally ill.
