TITLE: SOCIAL WORK SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in cooperation with staff, volunteers, interns in the execution of assigned tasks including but not exclusive of case management and intake coordination as well as service delivery that incorporates Compilation of Demographic Data, System Entry Risk/Need Assessment, Service/Referral Plan, and Integrated Case Review.
- Carry a caseload to provide direct case service coordination to clients
- Monitor intake process and assure timely assessments of clients.
- Responsible for the day to day management of center, including maintenance, correspondences, and food pantry coordination.
- Develop and expand internal and external linkages and community outreach while engaging in community building activities to further promote the Community Center.
- Assist with the coordination of contracted and funded projects as needed.
- Work in collaboration with Community Project Directors and CC staff in designing, implementing and facilitating programs in the areas of immigration I&R, counseling, career and job coaching, group work, parish outreach, education as needed or in response to emerging community needs, on and off site.
- Meet with staff on a weekly and as needed basis to review and discuss case plans, Community Center operations.
- Supervise outreach and off-site activities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters level in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
- Two years Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to travel locally.
- Bilingual speaking (Spanish or Creole).
